Marketing Plan
PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING
We selected the IADT Multicultural Society to develop a marketing plan for. This consisted of:
• A Mission Statement
• A SWOT Analysis
• Marking Objectives
• A description of the target market(s)/audience
• A Positioning Strategy
• Outline of Marketing Mix Strategy

Digital Marketing Campaign Proposal
DIGITAL MARKETING INTRODUCTION
For this task we had to create a strategy statement to submit a proposal for a digital marketing campaign we wanted to run (we chose the Multicultural Society in IADT). In addition, we had to create a storyboard for our YouTube advertisement (read more about this in the next box)

YouTube Advertisement
DIGITAL MARKETING INTRODUCTION
We had to create a short YouTube advertisement, based on our choice for the digital marketing campaign proposal. We chose to do the Multicultural Society in IADT.
Due to Covid restrictions we couldn't film an in person video so I chose to use a basic animation software called 'Scratch' to make a short animation.

Website Creation
WEB APPLICATIONS
For this task I had to make a simple website for the Multicultural society. For this I used the platform Wix.

This was the first website I had ever designed, and I feel I have improved greatly since. See Year 2 for more recent websites I have designed (this e-portfolio included)
Excel/ Video Production
DIGITAL SKILLS
We had to complete an Excel Course on LinkedIn Learning and record and edit a 3 min narrated screencast (using Screenomatic) to demonstrate some tips and techniques that I learned.

Digital Marketing Lesson on Canva
LEARNING FOR BUSINESS
This task was designed to foster creativity, design, and communication skills by displaying a digital marketing lesson that I believe is of value using the graphic design tool 'Canva'.

Argument Construction on Canva
LEARNING FOR BUSINESS
This task was all about argument construction. Our lecturer gave us individual extremely controversial statements and we had to try justify our argument with facts. This task also had to be displayed using the graphic design tool 'Canva'.

Website Creation
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT & CREATION
For this task I made a new and improved website for a local KungFu club, following a detailed analysis of their current website, it's flaws & shortcomings and how I could improve upon this. Furthermore, I used Wix to design this website.
